8 Months

We had lots of fun family time this month! Cwa and McB are starting to play together...or McB is starting to try and get Cwa to play with him. He loves trains and frequently pretends that he is one of the 'Thomas and Friends' characters. He instructs Cwa as to which character she should be...usually "Edward". He likes to push her around "help her crawl faster" and say "come on Edward, come on, park in the shed Edward, noooo Edward, over here, this way Edward".

We spent a "Day out with Thomas" as a family and had a blast. The train ride was a first for all of us. Here is a shot of Cwa waving out the train window.

Did I mention that McB LOVES trains:) Here is a shot of our family on the train. The little conductor in his conductor hat.

We ended the day with a picnic in the park...ing lot. We have had some great evening walking weather. We are finding it a bit challenging to get great pics with both kids smiling.
Here is a shot of Cwa sneaking a toy away from her friend Miss P during their playdate;) They both love the rubber dog toy. Here are some shots from our day trip to the tractor show. McB LOVES tractors too. Cwa just loves being carried by mommy and being outside:)

Cwa looks a little nervous about going for a ride with her big bro behind the wheel;)

7 Months

Better late than never;) We finished our summer with some fun. Over the past month, we finished settling into our new home, made a quick trip to the beach and aquarium, and just had some fun family time at HOME. Our new place is really starting to feel like home for us all:)

Here is a pic of mom and Cwa before "Girls Night". It is probably the last time she will get to go with mom to girls night. Maybe a day will come when she is old enough to carry on adult conversation and want to hang out with mom.

She is still full of smiles and she LOVES to be with her mama.

She LOVED the beach!!!

McB and Daddy catching a fish. Shhhhh, don't tell him it is plastic:) He also pretends to fish in our backyard with sticks. He will catch an imaginary one, hold it up and say, "wook I caught a fish, we need to cook it".

Just in case you can not see from his face in the pics, he was fascinated by the aquarium.

He was a little concerned when Nemo would not talk to him.

Dolphin watching with the cousins:)

Trying to feed herself.

Dessert:)

Yummm!

"Let's do this"

Official pose for "Potty Training"

Dressing his little sis.

Mom was not quick enough with the camera to get a good angle.

Mom caught him hanging out in our built-in wine rack/location of future missing toys.

McB and Daddy finding dinosaur shaped clouds.

6 Months

Whooooooo! What a month! We are finally getting unpacked and settled into our new home. We were blessed with many many helpers that made the move as quick as possible. The number of people that God provided was actually quite overwhelming. We LOVE our church and family and friends. Thanks to you all.

Here is Cwa's 6 month pic with our new carpet in the background.

McB tried really hard to hide away in a box during the move but mom kept on finding him.

Cwa just keeps smiling. She is laughing and cooing much more. She is rolling, doing lots of baby tummy crunches and she loves to sit up but still has frequent tumbles out of sitting. It's a good thing our new home has some nice cushioned carpet for her to land on.

EVERYTHING goes in her mouth. Here is a shot of her chomping down on a cloth diaper. One day, mom noticed that she had 1/2 of McB's cracker in her mouth. He was trying to share;)

Here is a shot of Cwa chilling at the table in our old house and watching mom pack the boxes. We are starting to work on some solid foods (rice cereal) but we are making pretty slow progress. She just likes to blow bubbles with it.

I couldn't find a great food shot. We will strive for that next month:)

She is totally infatuated with her brother. We started sharing the bathtub so bath time is much more entertaining. She LOVES watching him make the animals talk (or attack each other) and the cars drive or talk (cars can talk too, you know).

5 Months

5 Months! Can you believe that?!

Cwa LOVES the water, even if big Bro is splashing it in her face. She just starts cracking up:)))

Here is the pic that we put in daddy's Father's Day card.

This is Great Grampa (G-Pa) from daddy's side of the family. Can't find a shot of Great Gramma (G-G). They traveled all the way from Wisconsin to see us this past month.

We hung out with them at a really cool exotic animal zoo.

McB was being a "2 yr old" and refusing to smile. He really did have a great time. Cwa is just trying to be "cool".

He was not too sure about the camel.

McB had lots of fun cousin time with KatyBug.

They both love books, esp this one. It is called Tiny Bear's Bible.

Granny helped out with our 1st trip to camp. She was a huge blessing. This allowed mommy and daddy to spend some quality time with the youth group without having to miss kiddo's too much;) Don't mind that boot on her foot. It didn't slow her down much.

This is the AWESOME pool/slide at our 4th of July Bash.

McB had some more fun cousin time with cousins E and C.

This is Cwa trying hard to get her head in the water.

This is a shot of some really great dad's, and uncles putting away the AWESOME slide thing.

Here are a few shots of Cwa at the 4th of July Bash. She is getting ready to cut some teeeeth.

We took PawPaw's boat for a spin in the "river/bay". I call it the "river/bay" b/c there were some dolphins in the river. I guess that happens when you're close to the bay and it has not rained in a while.

Check out our sand train. "Choo Chooooo"

Cwa was just pretending to nap. She was really staring at the water/waves splashing up on the shore. McB is the 1st boy cousin, so he has to wear the hand-me-down girl lifevest;)
