Family of 5

IT's A BOY!

IP (we have not settled on a blog nickname yet, so we’ll call him IP for now) has finally arrived in normal Moss fashion…late…but only 7 days this time…we are getting better!  IP was born on 10/8/12 at 5:15pm, weighing 7 lb 15 oz and 20 ¼” of pure baby BOY.  After a false alarm on Saturday (momma’s contractions were 5 to 10 min apart, but quit by 4:30 am…yeah, it was a rough night for momma), we drove to the hospital Monday morning for our 7:30 appointment for our scheduled induction (actually, arrived at 7:40, my bad, but what did you expect).  We found out that IP had wrestled himself into a funny position, which is likely why the contractions had stopped on Saturday night.  By 1:00 Monday afternoon, the Pitocin had been started and contractions were well on their way. After walking around the hospital for a short while, active labor set in.  Our friend arrived around 5 to deliver, as things started to happen really fast and we soon exclaimed…”It’s a BOY!”  Becky was sustained with prayer and the strength of the Lord through her exhaustion, and successfully brought this beautiful baby into our arms and lives.  All praise belongs to the God of our salvation!  Please pray for Momma’s strength and recovery, and IP to grow strong and healthy.  Most importantly, pray that the Lord will be his salvation, as his name represents, God is my salvation.

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation." Isaiah 12:2 ESV - [2]
