McB is 5!!!

We celebrated McB's 5th birthday with a fire breathing dragon party.  He loved his fire breathing dragon cake/stack of cupcakes with smoke/dry ice steam coming out a straw through the dragon's mouth/melting face.  He was trying to blow the steam away in the 2nd pic. He also loved his sparkler candle, which worked great for an outdoor party on a windy day.  As you can see below, the party was mass chaos but we had tons of fun, esp. battleing the fire breathing dragon that ate all of the birthday candy.

Birthday's also mean more cousin time.

IP and cousin ElF.

We embarked on a new adventure this Spring.  We are raising chickens!
Our baby chicks in their incubator in the garage.

Daddy finished the coop just in time.  We've also been working on our garden.  The kiddos LOVE playing in the mud.

We've had some warm weather for outings with ice cream:)

We cured our kids from ever wanting to go back to McDonald's again;)
Sarah at her 1st "big girl" party with Momma, Aunt MB, & Granny at cousin Alyssa's Bridal Shower.

We celebrated Easter with GPa and GMa

Hunting eggs...after playing in the mud.

Smashing the cascarones that Granny and PawPaw sent us.

Here is our best attempt at and Easter morning pic;)  It was a fun weekend, but we had some tired kiddos at the end of it.

3 Years!

Our 3 year old little lady is turning out to be quite a character.  She still has plenty of shy moments but she prefers to be her silly self most of the time.  She does her best to keep everyone in line around here...or so she thinks;)

SLiM with her "Frozen" cake and movie tickets.
Prepared for a MESS in the kitchen.

Shopping trip (with Mommy) to get Mommy's Birthday present.
We celebrated Grampa, KK, Mommy and SLiM's birthdays at the end of January but for some reason we don't have any photos to show for it.  We headed to Granny and Paw Paw's house to celebrate SLiM and Mommy's birthdays the next weekend.  Here are a few shots from our weekend in the country.

Here are a few other things we've been up to over the past 2 months.
Family time with HB, our "intern" for a few wks in January.  We loved having her in our home.
SLiM thought she was esp. fun!

IP LOVES to play catch.  He found this game at the arcade to be quite entertaining...esp. since he could not through the ball far enough and it would continuously return to him back down the ramp.

McB won 2nd place with his Super Fast Jet Car, at the AWANA's Grand Prix.

Happy Valentines Day!

We spent part of our Valentine's Day flying a kite.  The kids loved it, esp. since Mary Poppins happens to be their favorite movie right now.

Merry Christmas!

We have had a wonderful time this month preparing our hearts to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We pray His love fills your hearts and home this Christmas like never before.
Merry Christmas!!!
Love, The Moss Family!

We hope to get a real card out next year;)

We started our Christmas festivities the day after Thanksgiving at PawPaw and Granny's house.
All the cousins in their Christmas PJ's from Granny and PawPaw

We continued our festivities and preparation when we returned home to start our Advent activities and decorate our own house.  The kids had a blast opening a "scroll" (rolled up scripture with an activity, sticker, or treat in a wrapped up toilet paper roll) and lighting the candles each night.

We found a good use for Daddy's Bronco while watching the Christmas Parade if freezing weather.  It helped to have chili, hot chocolate and hot apple cider...but Micah still had a hard time getting a smile on his frozen face;)

We joined our church family at Daddy's work to sing a few carols and hug a few of our friends that live their.

We all enjoyed looking at lots of lights this year, again, in freezing weather.

Someone decided to hop on the donkey while posing for the picture:/

A favorite place for us to stop on our way to see Grampa and Gramma.

We are spending Christmas with Grampa and Gramma and having lots of fun.

Eating his ice cream cone Christmas tree.
Playing dress up and peeking around the Christmas tree.

We concluded our Christmas celebration with the lights of our tree and the Advent candles while reading about the birth of our Savior.

Getting ready to open their big boxes of blocks.
We made a trip to the ice scatting rink on New Years Eve for our final adventure of 2013.
One person was excited about being on the ice, saying "go faster" and another person was trying his best to convince his coach to carry him around the ice.  We all had a great time, including the little guy observing from the window.
