Merry Christmas!

We have had a wonderful time this month preparing our hearts to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We pray His love fills your hearts and home this Christmas like never before.
Merry Christmas!!!
Love, The Moss Family!

We hope to get a real card out next year;)

We started our Christmas festivities the day after Thanksgiving at PawPaw and Granny's house.
All the cousins in their Christmas PJ's from Granny and PawPaw

We continued our festivities and preparation when we returned home to start our Advent activities and decorate our own house.  The kids had a blast opening a "scroll" (rolled up scripture with an activity, sticker, or treat in a wrapped up toilet paper roll) and lighting the candles each night.

We found a good use for Daddy's Bronco while watching the Christmas Parade if freezing weather.  It helped to have chili, hot chocolate and hot apple cider...but Micah still had a hard time getting a smile on his frozen face;)

We joined our church family at Daddy's work to sing a few carols and hug a few of our friends that live their.

We all enjoyed looking at lots of lights this year, again, in freezing weather.

Someone decided to hop on the donkey while posing for the picture:/

A favorite place for us to stop on our way to see Grampa and Gramma.

We are spending Christmas with Grampa and Gramma and having lots of fun.

Eating his ice cream cone Christmas tree.
Playing dress up and peeking around the Christmas tree.

We concluded our Christmas celebration with the lights of our tree and the Advent candles while reading about the birth of our Savior.

Getting ready to open their big boxes of blocks.
We made a trip to the ice scatting rink on New Years Eve for our final adventure of 2013.
One person was excited about being on the ice, saying "go faster" and another person was trying his best to convince his coach to carry him around the ice.  We all had a great time, including the little guy observing from the window.

Happy Fall Yall!

We spent Thanksgiving at PawPaw and Granny's house this year.  Grandpa Marv was able to join us.  It involved good food, tractors, horses, four wheelers, guns and lots of great family time.

still calling it a motorcycle and very serious about driving it

Speaking of driving, IP tried his hand at driving the tractor.

Good thing Tip is pretty easy going.  IP loved him.

He was cool with the horses as long as they kept their distance from him.
Here are a few of our other Fall shenanigans

1 Year!

This post is a little late, as usual, but we've had a busy and fun month.  We made a trip to the beach, HEB camp for our church retreat and we celebrated IP's birthday with all of our family.  We still can't believe that this little guy is ONE! He loves balls, waving bye bye, giving kisses and eating FOOD.

Here are a few shots of his birthday celebration.  The 1st 2 were taken on the night of his actual birthday when he experienced his 1st Oreo and opening his 1st present.  We made him wait until his party to dig into his cake.  We made the mistake of letting him fill up on cheese puffs and then holding a burning candle within reach during the "happy birthday" song.  Both of which spoiled his 1st cake experience a bit:(

Did you know that too much cake can put hair on your chest?

Beach Vacation

Our best "find" for the trip this year.  Doesn't quite live up to the baby sea turtle we found last year but it was still pretty cool.
IP's 1st impression of the beach, just after he met his 1st wave.  He ended up liking it quite well though.

Feeding the Birds!
Boogie boarding with Daddy.  The tide was really high but it made for a great toddler pool for playing in.  We are not huge fans of the waves yet.
Daddy and McB had a great time building castle's....and tearing them down;)

The best tree house ever.

Dino Exhibit
This is a little random but I had to share McB in T-Rex character at the Dino exhibit.  He LOVES demonstrating his T-Rex and his Velaciraptor for people.  The T-Rex has short arms, makes growling noises and takes huge steps while the Raptor has long arms, makes snarling noises and runs very fast.
