3 Months

3 Months and growing fast.

July has been a busy month. McB travelled to Granny and Paw Paw's for the 4th and then to WI to meet his Great Grandparents on daddy's side of the family.

He partied too hard on the 4th.

2 Months

2 Months have gone by really fast. McB is growing and getting more active each day.

This is what happens when daddy does his hair.

It has been a busy month. McB took his first road trip to a wedding in Houston. He loves hanging out with Big B after work. Big B is coaching McB in Baby Fu. He has some great moves already. If you look closely, you'll see that his eyes are turning brown.

The bowling alley was a little overstimulating. McB decided to take a nap.

His favorite thing to do is dance in front of the mirror and make faces at mommy.

Well, after 2 weeks of bed rest due to high blood pressure, and 2 overnight stays in the hospital, the long anticipated day had finally arrived (8 days after the April 7 due date), and the doctor wasn't going to let us talk him out of inducing this time. We checked in at the hospital on April 15, 2009 and after a long night of contractions and no sleep, the inducing medication was started. Eight and a half hours later, on April 16, 2009, at 2:35 pm, our baby boy, McB was born, weighing in at 7 lb 15 oz, with a length of 21 inches and a full head of black hair! Mrs. B was AMAZING, and glory to God, was able to deliver our beautiful baby boy (and I'm not biased...). The nurses at the hospital were so helpful, especially our nurse friend who came on her day off just in time to coach us through the labor and birth. We are in such awe of God and that He has chosen us to be McB's parents. It is an exciting, yet humbling privilege that we will need God's guidance and your prayers to do well. We thank each one of you for your loving support and prayers. To God be the glory!!! Here are some pictures of birthday and day 1. More to follow...

Baby's room

We have been blessed to have wonderful families and friends, and a caring church. They have helped us prepare for this baby with prayers, encouragement, advice, and gifts. Thank you all so much. We love you. Here are some pictures of the baby room in waiting. Big B actually put together the crib, rocker, and built the changing table...so additional prayers for baby safety are requested.

Our first baby blog

We are glad you have come to see what is new in the life of B&B. As you can see by the pictures, the latest is WE ARE PREGNANT!! We are due April 7, we will be having a boy...or a girl...we'll find out when he/she arrives. Obviously we don't have any baby pictures to post yet (which I know is the REAL reason you are here), but here are some preliminary pics. A friend of ours took these pictures and did a really good job. We can't wait to see who's inside!!!
