We spent the month of December preparing our hearts for Christmas with Advent. Here are a few shots from our Christmas lights adventure in a nearby town. It was fun watching the kids run and play together as they explored with excitement. IP even enjoyed looking at the lights.
Daddy, SLiM and McB looking up into the trees filled with lights that look like leaves, some of them were made to appear to be falling like rain drops through the trees. |
We spent a fun filled 4 day weekend, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at
Granny and PawPaw's house.
Family photo on Christmas Eve |
The local volunteer fire department made a special trip down Granny and PawPaw's long driveway to surprise a few grandkids. One of the perks of living in a very small town:) McB was just a bit excited about the truck...can you find him in the pic with santa? He didn't even panic when the siren went off.
We watched cousin E and C perform in their Christmas Eve program at their church. |
Blowing out the candles was the highlight of our Advent devotionals throughout the entire month. |
Making a birthday cake for Jesus |
Riding horses |
These two, cousin C(blue tractor) and McB(red tractor), had a blast together. They both have crazy imaginations. |
